A BORDO DEL TREASURE – Cuando te embarcas en un viaje de crucero en el Disney Treasure, no solamente te transportarás a los destinos caribeños en su itinerario, sino que la tripulación te llevará a un periplo en el tiempo con paradas en los mágicos escenarios de las películas y parques de Disney.

Treasure es la sexta embarcación se se suma a Disney Cruise Line cuyo plan es tener 13 barcos para el año 2031. Se trata del barco gemelo del Wish, pero tiene sus propias particularidades, sobre todo la hilvanación de la experiencia a partir de la aventura.

“En Disney Cruise Line, tenemos una trayectoria en proveer experiencias inmersivas a nuestros húespedes y llevarlos a las historias de Disney […] Con el Disney Treasure, llevamos ese trabajo a otro nivel porque hicimos algo nuevo al mirar las atracciones más icónicas de nuestros parques”, explicó Yolanda Cade, vicepresidenta de comunicaciones para Disney Signature Experiences, como preámbulo a una mesa redonda con el equipo ejecutivo de la empresa para explicar el efecto de sopresa y fascinación que provocan los espacios, las ofertas y las atracciones del nuevo crucero.

Tan pronto ingresas a la embarcación, te transportas a exóticos escenarios de Oriente Medio, pues el salón central se inspira en la historia de la princesa Jasmine y Aladdín.

Es un moderno barco fabricado en Alemania con 14 niveles, en donde los Imagineers de Disney han hecho su magia para crear una experiencia inmersiva en todo momento.

El crucero tiene 1,256 camarotes, 23 suites y 4 suites reales, incluyendo la Tomorrow Tower Suite, inspirada en el parque de EPCOT, y la Royal Suite, inspirada en la historia de Aladdín. Estas suites reales son puro lujo en cada espacio y detalle.

Por primera vez, Disney trae a una experiencia en vivo de Coco, en el inmenso restaurante Plaza de Coco, donde Miguel y su familia, La Familia Rivera, te acogen en su celebración del Día de los Muertos. En la travesía de siete noches, hay dos cenas en este espacio y se crean dos experiencias diferentes. La empresa contó con asesores culturales para proveer autenticidad a la experiencia y transportarte a México a través de todos los sentidos.

También, en el Treasure se estrena el musical The Tale of Moana, una puesta en escena que tuvimos la oportunidad de presenciar y que cuenta con todos los elementos para ser presentada en Broadway.

El crucero ofrece un amplio programa de entretenimiento para todas las edades.

La oferta culinaria es igualmente diversa. Los restaurantes son: el 1923, Plaza de Coco, Worlds of Marvel, Enchante y Palo Steakhouse, que brindan experiencias especiales. Mientras que, siempre puedes apaciguar el hambre en Marceline Market y Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods. Pero la cereza en el pastel es la tienda dulce Jumbeaux’s Sweets con helados, gelatos y pastelería en un ambiente que te transporta a la película Zootopia.

Hay una diversidad de bares también inspirados hasta el más mínimo detalle en películas o atracciones de Disney como: Hounted Mansion Parlor, Scat Cat Lounge, Periscope Pub y Skipper Society, entre otros.

Hay salas de cine y, en el área de la piscina, una pantalla gigante proyecta películas de Disney en todo momento. Además, las atracciones de agua son impresionantes. Cuentan con Slide-a-saurus Rex y Aqua Mouse. También, tienen un área con canchas de baloncesto y otras actividades deportivas. Hay un club para los adolescentes y una programación con cuido para los más pequeños.

Mientras que, para la relajación, el crucero tiene un amplio spa con áreas interiores y exteriores.

Toda la experiencia la puedes recordar con mercancía exclusiva del Treasure, así como con su oferta de fotografías.

La fiesta no se detiene en la travesía que te transporta por distintas islas del Caribe, incluyendo la isla privada de Disney: Castaway Cay.
